Candles
Ethan had beeswax from our bees, and living off grid meant that on cloudy days the power would cut out and we’d be left without light, so Luna started making candles out of necessity, fell in love with the craft, and simply couldn’t stop. We kept bees for years and know firsthand what goes into every drop of wax, our bees travelling flower to flower, visiting hundreds of blossoms to produce just a small amount of pure beeswax, following the seasons and the rhythms of the hive. Losing our colony to varroa last year was a real heartbreak, and it has only deepened our appreciation for the extraordinary work bees do. Where our own beeswax isn’t enough, we source from Gold Coast Honey in the GC Hinterland, a small local apiary whose bees forage on native blossoms, are never fed sugar substitutes, and are kept close to bushland year round, values that align closely with our own. Our collection includes handcrafted beeswax candles, botanical tealights, and hardwood timber pieces, each made slowly and with deep respect for nature. Thank you for being here.
